This freelance railroad models the Cuyahoga River Valley in Cleveland Ohio in the 1955-64 time period. It is a N scale railroad nicely incorporated into a 7½ x 11-foot room with the scenery 85% completed. It is a terminal railroad servicing the shipping docks and industries on the river flats. In addition to Port Authority Terminal Railroad trackage, there are interfaces with several other railroads that service the Cleveland area. Among the more interesting features are the warehouses, the grain terminal, and the river with docked Great Lakes vessels. The control system is a Digitrax DCC system. Plans for the future include adding of two long viaducts and more scenery details. The accessibility issues are modest with two steps to enter the house and five steps down to the railroad room.
