Michigan Connecting Railroad

The Michigan Connecting Rail Road is a moderate size layout (15′ x 21′) in the central part of Lower Michigan. Operation is the main theme of the railroad. There are 3 mainline trains, each about 20 cars long, 3 local trains, 2 passenger trains, 180 ft. of main line, 70 turnouts and 200 fright cars. All fright trains are “out and back” operation. About 100 spots to put freight cars. All freight moves through the main yard (at Lapeer). A signaling system is not yet complete. Scenery is ongoing.

  • Friday (10/12), 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Saturday (10/13), Noon to 5:00pm
  • Sunday (10/14), Noon to 5:00pm
