This HO layout is set in northwest Montana and models the 1940-50 era Great Northern. The room size is 30′ x 26′, and both the trackwork and scenery are 100% complete. In addition to the 150′ mainline there is a branchline serving various mountain industries. A key feature of this railroad is the impressive mountain scenery with massive rock faces and awesome steel and wood trestles.. Also noteworthy are the highly detailed structures, such as factories, stations, urban stores, gas stations, rural churches, and even a large brick roundhouse. A computer-based Centralized Traffic Control system manages the railroad signals. NCE is the DCC control system. The layout has been open for four previous regional and national NMRA conventions.
