Fox River Valley

This freelance HO layout, the Fox River Valley RR, runs from northern Illinois through hills and across rivers and streams on bridges and wood trestles to Green Bay, WI. Considerable rockwork with strategic view blocks is included in the scenery. The 32′ x 32′ railroad is housed in a handicap accessible backyard pole barn..The 600′ mainline with numerous passing sidings winds repeatedly through the space and offers a variety of views. The time period ranges from the late 1930s to 1965, which allows for the running of a wide choice of motive power from diesels Towns and several yards are included. Scenery work and mainline ballasting continue. NCE DCC allows for interesting operating.
